We're not big cell phone users and that's what we do too. It saves us a lot of money.
Thinking some more about the tweeting issue. Does anyone think that NASCAR is going to do anything to discourage cell phone usage when the series sponsor is Sprint? Even the powers that be know they shouldn't bite the hand that feeds them.
"I don't know how you could use it to cheat, quite frankly. I'm sure there are some smart people that would try to think of one. But the ability to give access to the fans is more than worth any of those small ramifications."
Chad is probably figuring something out already.
I like his explanation for why he carries the cellphone. He had fun with it while there was a red flag. I don't see anything wrong with it. I don't think anyone would be dumb enough to try and tweet under the caution. Well maybe Robby and Kyle, but they don't have any friends so that's not a problem.
I'm disappointed in Chad. You'd think with all the rules he's broken over the years, he would learn how to conceal his "innovations" better. I still won't rule Jimmie out for the championship, but its definitely going to be an uphill fight.

NASCAR is saying that the "C" post was altered and Hendrick is saying that its the same "C" post they used last year and the one the car passed the Tech inspection on after Talledega. I'd like to see a recent picture of Hendrick. I'll bet his nose is a lot longer now.

The wreck didn't seem to be Montoya's fault, but he will be forever known as the guy who ran into the jet dryer.

The bigger story is the fact that the NASCAR management actually listened to what the fans had to say. If this is the start of a trend it could be good.
Wouldn't that be great? A few basic rules for horsepower and make them actually use the body of the car they represent, but otherwise let em run what they brung.
I know what you mean about the corporate sponsors for the stadiums. What gets me is the college bowl games with corporate sponsors now. It loses something when you have the Midas Muffler Rose Bowl.
Will those tracks lose races now?
Float is the guys name really Printup? Does he have an assistant named Download?
On days like that you need a facebook account. They have all kinds of games you can play for free. Bejeweled Blitz is a good time killer. I also play some Texas Holdem on their too and I've learned that I should never play that game for real money.
That might work. Make it a modified version of the Rolex races where they have GT and the Prototypes running together. Make everyone declare whether they intend to run the whole race or just start and park. Figure out how far one tank of gas should take them and declare that the end of the S&P race. You could even have a Start and Park points champion.
I haven't been around much because my computer has been acting up. Whenever I try to get to this page it always times out on me. I got a virus that wiped out my files a couple weeks ago and I'm still trying to rebuild things.
Great to see them going back to the Rock. The track deserved better!

Anything more to the wreck Tony caused in practice?
