You don't see too many repeat champions in any sport these days. It takes the right mix of talent chemistry and luck (not necessarily in that order) to win any championship and things seldom align the same way to years in a row. In hockey however the conference finals featured the Cup winners from the last 4 years. Maybe not a dynasty, but the same teams seem to be the ones making the Cup run each year.
I could be worse. The Bruins could have Iggy out there instead of Jagr. Although I didn't think so at the time its obvious that the Bruins got the better playr.
Its simple its a conspiracy to give the Cup to the Bruins.
No seriously, its simple the ref lost site of the puck, he thought Rask had it smothered so he blew the whistle. Its unfortunate for the Hawks, but completely understandable.
As I said before since Sid missed a quarter of the season I didn't think he should be eligible. If you look at the plus/minus of the points leaders above Sid though it gets kind of interesting. St. Louis had 60 points and was even, Stamkos had 57 points and was minus 4, Ovie had 56 points and was a plus 2. Sid on the other hand had 56 points and was a plus 26.
Hang on a second here. How can it be a "chronic" shoulder (whatever) when it first started bothering him when he fought Iggy a week ago? I thought chronic had to be long term.

It looked like Chicago was out of gas at the end of the game. Even with that it took a great shot by Paille to win it.
Did Sherwood just admit that its not a good thing for the NHL to have a team in Phoenix?
We'll see how Ovie comes out next year, but he did seem to get better as the season went on.
