Yeah, I watch hockey. Try and tell me that crap he and his guys pulled last year vs. the Wings was clean. Doesn't paint him as a dirty player overall but he's capable of it.

The guy is respected and deservedly so but he's revered to a point where I have no clue what the hell the "experts" are smoking. Kipper's more important to that bunch than he is.

Jarome had his chance and he was too busy daydreaming about holding the Cup than working to win it - he vanished with two chances to clinch it and did nothing but whine at the refs.

Ray Bourque never went apes**t dirty on opposing players like this guy did in the playoffs last year vs. Detroit.

Talib basically admitted he underestimated Nelson. Raheem and Monte will change that in a hurry. They'll be looking for teams to go up-top on them, as usual, and as usual the secondary of Jackson-Phillips-Barber and now Wilson and Talib will shut down the vertical passing game.

Lee was just being a terrible teammate and refused to change positions when given a chance to stay on the team - that and he apparently stopped going to class.

A better example would be Fred Rouse - he got booted the minute he got into trouble and that kid was on everyone's recruiting list.

Iginla isn't a cancer but when the Flames have a series on the line, he always vanishes. Whenever they have a seventh game (also counting Game 6 of the 2004 playoffs since they had the Cup on the line), he's nowhere to be found, even going shotless on several occasions, as in that year's Cup final.

If he had spent more time focusing on the actual game rather than dreaming of himself holding the Cup after game 5, like he admitted, he'd have a ring right now.

His plus minus rating is because he plays with GARBAGE. He doesn't have Modin or Prospal on his line anymore to finish his setups. The guy is the best playmaker (not scorer, that's Lecavalier) on the team and in the NHL. As the salary cap increases and other players get larger deals, his salary is proving to be a relative bargain. If he had any halfway decent guys on his line, he would be back to 90 point territory. He doesn't need expensive guys, just guys with a scoring touch. Ouellet might prove to be one in the future but Hlavac sure the heck isn't. It boggles the mind as to why people always whine about dealing Richards at the earliest opportunity.

Khabibulin wanted $3 mil more than St. Louis and even the Lightning players knew it was a mistake - even Tim Taylor said as such this week on the radio when idiot bandwagon fans were calling for Feaster and Tortorella's jobs.

Ray Lewis was a great player but in the past few years he has been reduced to merely a cartoon character. Still capable of the big play, but the most you'll see him do is haul his **** to a pile of players, jump on top and then dance around like a minstrel performer for the cameras like he actually made the play. Of course, the media lemmings dance to his tune and give him double the tackles he actually makes.

Makes you wonder what he'd be doing if Roger Goodell had been the commissioner in 2000. Shining rims down in Carol City, perhaps?
