I am agreeing .... as a fan ... Thompson is once again ignoring the histroy of the team. Ask Mark Chumura how green bay treats even mild criminal issues. They ship them out of town. There was a reciever way back also ... Lofton maybe? He pulled a minor incident in Green bay, minor if he played for NY or any other large market but it got him sent away also. Now we want to hire a distraction? But Favre was a problem? Thompson needs to be gone. I do also disagree that we have useful backups. neither of those guys turned anything useful in on the field last year, less so the higher pick.

You need to see what team TT put around Brett that 4 win season ... Offensive line left cause they wanted money - running backs dropped like flies till Samkon Gado looked good - team was almost out of recievers - all because of TT and his policies - the offensive line finally grew a bit in the 13 - 3 season hence the running backs survived a bit ---

Look I hope Arron is great and I still root for GB ... I say only two things about all this brett stuff posted ... TT is more than 50% at fault - and Brett isn't writing these stories and twitters and blogs ... but y'all persacute him as if he were ...

But if Collins wants to play in GB he is wrong to call out Thompson as he has proven he will destroy a team to win any power struggle .. he has done that with more players than Brett... 13 n 3 to 6 n 10 --- there's an upgrade

Tell you what ... you sit and cheer on Rodgers and his passer rating year after year and I will watch the QB of the two that posted more wins .... You will discover that to get to the playoffs and beyonds .. they add the wins up .... I don't recall a season where they chucked that system and went with QB stats ... Now I like Rodgers just fine as it was forced upon me but stop saying he is great till he is great ... Brett has already put in the time to prove it and with GB and HIS team GB's record would have been better... And no... there is no sense caring ... Fire TT and MM as they are responsible.... They have managed 2 losing seasons one 500 and one winning one.... when they won, they opted to lose the main cog in their system ... they should be gone

The Mayor needs to either shut his mouth - or publicly intervene in every crime commited in NYC every day... It is not his place to use this issue for his anti-gun rant ...As for gun control issues maybe what Burress needs is to not own a glock - I am led to believe by some gun loving friends that the saftey mechanism on a Glock is ... less than safe ... As for Burress, his previous transgressions were team issues not legal ones save the domestic issue and that went away. So he is not Pacman nor is he any of the others ....YET .... after his felony conviction for stupidity to the Nth degree he will be on the podium with our other award winners ... time to get Jerry Jones on his speed dial ...

Scary; I don't think we are anti-Rodgers ... I am not ... someone was going to replace Brett someday .... I just worry about his seeming propensity for injury and the laughable backup situation. If Rodgers goes down there is no net. And yes he played well in the wins and didn't play badly in Dallas against a tough D .... Tampa however ..nothing worked for the offense and that started, as you say, with the line.
Having said that I would say I am not a TT fan ... I would wish him well and pull up the beach chair next to Millen and Linehan for him. I won't bore with my list of reasons aside from the treatment of Favre for three seasons before the end. Suffice it to say I don't see an interest in winning as much as staying good enough but pinching that final penny and keeping control over HIS team.

I would recomend to Rodgers that he be wary of getting to good to need more money and garner personal media attention over the team as that seems to be greyhound outta town time.

Ahmen PWINGS .... I am a packer fan also and we didn't need Jean Dixon to predict this mess. TT and MM think they are done with the Favre fiasco but as Mangini learns to use Brett right and Mr Rodgers gets more and more injured ... this will grow more distasteful ... I just hope TT in his brilliance doesn't try to save the season by dragging in Cullpepper ... I couldn't deal with that.

I am not a Lions fan but have lived in the area and watched the idiocy for a decade and a half now... millen is not the problem here ... he is merely a symptom of it. Since I have lived here they have changed every cog on that team - coaches, GM's, QB's - they even made Barry Sanders leave out of disgust .. the problem is the only thing remaining .... the owner.

He sells out all season despite producing no useful, viable product on the field so why should he care if the team never wins anything ...

The teams play on the same feild - financially also -- I am a packer fan and kno wthe packers benefit from a controlled market - salry cap - but the key is ....stop paying so much for the players ... the old school guys played for love of the game -- now they actually threaten the market - we normal guys cant pay the sums to watch any longer

No one call decides a game - even one giving away points like that garbage interference call - and yes TO was stripped, also yes, I am a packer fan. But the better team won last night - Favre was on a INT record night pace but even in MVP years he would have them occasionally and you learn to deal with it. the positives for us GB fans are - Rodgers can play it seems, and we learned where we REALLY stand against the highest level - in the more work catagory... but it is all good

Played the game most of my life - never fought - not needed - No true fan thinks fighting is a "part of the game" - if you like it and think that it is part you are not a fan - go watch UFC or some other fighting sport for your fix.

And yes I like the UFC just fine.

As for the goal size changing -- get used to the idea that hockey is a low scoring game and - unlike basketball - defense is important -

Now I do agree that there are to many teams -

Hockey playoffs - allowing everyone in - are a joke the playoffs are the season and the season is the preseason - no one watches because the costs to watch are rising - and there is no reason to watch - the regular season games have so little impact per game that fans dont get into it till the playoffs turn on.
