Bobby Bowden should stay as long as he wants. All the critics in here probably weren't fans of FSU until Bobby came along and made it a powerhouse. The man deserves respect from Nole fans for sure.

Exactly. If the offensive scheme would give the quarterback a chance by spreading receivers over the field, we might have some success. Right now it's the same scheme over and over and over...and failure continues.

The game between Bama & FSU wasn't as close as the score showed. DC's point was that if FSU hadn't switched to the prevent D @ the end (which we always seem to do when we're winning games), the Bama offense probably wouldn't have scored. The Nole defense had held them all night.

Speaking of best high school football teams...I'm proud to live in Valdosta, GA, home of the winningest football team in the nation...the Valdosta High Wildcats, with 23 state championships and 6 national titles. And the crosstown rivalry, Lowndes High has won 3 state championships since 1999.

Just bragging...but since it was mentioned.

PSU was a heart breaker...but I was proud to have competed like we did. And yeah...I had the defibrilator handy too..

Bobby is the image of FSU...so yeah, he's a figure head. But he doesn't just sit back. He motivates the players, he gets recruits...and he's on the headset when he needs to be.

Yeah...the trick play was his calling card. Can't remember the last one, but I'm sure there was one or 2 in the 99 season and since. Nothing like the old days, but surely there had to be.

I don't think Bobby's as intense as he used to be, but I don't think he's as far removed from the game as you do.

After the 05 season, the game with PSU was like winning a NC. Sometimes you have to look for the good.

And I know you talk in jest, but I really don't think he's lost it all. I still believe in the guy.

And yeah, Weatherford should be done. I really didn't think it was all his problem until this game when X stepped up. I was wrong.

Bobby still has some plays up his sleeves DC. So he's forgetful at times. Heck...he's 77! But I still say he can out-coach most of the younger coaches out there.

Oh yeah....X will start. I hadn't given up on Weatherford until Saturday night when Lee stepped in. That was the end of my Weatherford pride days. X is our man.
