Why don't you bother even reading what I wrote before firing off a post, num-nuts? It you look, you will see "thug U" as a REPUTATION, not a reality. And I also said that my school is "not without warts" I was being quite complementary to Miami, but you are too stupid to realize it. I will not make that mistake again in the future, for although Shannon may be raising the bar for his player, the student body as a whole is still a collection of idiotic spoiled crybabies still missing their mommy.
Obviously you are a stirling example of someone who slipped by on "lax academic standards," for you most certainly can't read.

If Detroit could build a decent product then I would buy it. As long as they turn out overpriced plastic un-ergonomic pieces of crap that make up for their deficiencies by getting lousy mileage; then I will continue to drive my Nissan. Built in Smyna, TN by non-UAW labor.

As for unamerican... What unit did you serve in, captain America? You comment insults someone who has spent the last 20 years in the defense industry, AKA the backbone of American Industry

Instead of being excited to see an up and coming player, how about being excited because coach RS is excersising discipline at a school with a "reputation" of thuggery and lax academic standards. I think that this will pay more dividends to the "U" over the long haul then Jacory getting some playing time....
My school is not without warts as well, but I think it might be good lesson for all coaches.

Posted Wednesday January 16, 2008, About: Longhorns may hire Applewhite
Considering how unproductive Alabama's offense was this past year, it might be the best move for both schools. Applewhite obviously wasn't ready to be an offensive coordinator, so running back coach at his alma mater might be the perfect fit. He definitely needs more seasoning
