Posted Thursday September 02, 2010, About: Why Lithuania's upset is bad for Team USA
This article is all speculation. Lots of basketball to be played before anybody should have concerns about anything. The US might gel very well as a team in which case noone can stop them or they might revert back to playing one-on-one and then it will all be up for grabs.
Posted Wednesday September 01, 2010, About: Maturity the key to a new Shaq
Yeah, he always says the right things upfront, they all do. Let's see how this develops deep into the season when he has to come in behind Perkins.
Posted Wednesday September 01, 2010, About: Coach K playing away from Team USA strength
Great point, I was just about to bring that up. It's a different game. I saw Turkey take apart Greece last night executing the pick and roll to perfection, much like Greece did against the US years ago. Deja vu!
Posted Thursday August 26, 2010, About: Stoudemire to improve without Nash?
A well placed and timely pass is worth half the basket, Amar'e is about to find that out the hard way. He's a good player but far from great.
Posted Thursday August 26, 2010, About: Why Kobe is due for a decline
I myself, and all the Lakers fans out there, I'm sure, have absolutely no problem with Kobe averaging 15 points a game, as long as that means he's giving up the ball and others are making shots. He should be mature enough by now to know personal stats don't really matter, championships do.
Posted Tuesday August 24, 2010, About: Redick 'cool with' backup status for now
Yeah, but who would want Carter's contract, much less Carter himself? The Toronto days of Vincanity are long gone.
Posted Tuesday August 24, 2010, About: Doc already worried about Shaq's attitude?
That's all the league needs, more theatrics in Boston. Hope it will at least be fun to watch.
Posted Tuesday August 24, 2010, About: U.S. players simply too quick for officials?
I saw that game, they do travel a lot. Hard to brush off something you'be taught to do for years.
Posted Tuesday August 24, 2010, About: Boeheim responsible for Team USA win?
I've been watching Rubio for some years now, he'll do pretty good in the NBA, where the rules are different and there's nowhere near as much pushing and shoving. Just watch Goran Dragic playing for Slovenia, completely different player than the one who plays in Phoenix. They should have picked Vujacic insted to play at the World's.
