There you go, Stranger. That would make perfect sense except ..... when was the last time the Stars scored 5 goals?
Posted Monday November 23, 2009, About: McNabb consoles Cutler
When I first saw the score, I honestly thought it was mistake. I thought it was the score of a hockey game betweeen the Dallas Stars and the Washington Capitals.

It was a classy thing for Donovan McNabb to do. That's a whole lot more than Favre's ever done for his back up Aaron Rodgers!

Jay Cutler's confidence has eroded to the point he can hardly function. And that one's on inept OC Ron Turner! His idiotic management of the offense is destroying Cutler. The sooner the Bears get rid of that moron the better. They still might be able to salvage something of what's left of Jay Cutler before he goes the way of so many other Bears QBs!

Did you ride the short bus to school, Red Devil99? Your assumptions about what I know or don't know about what went down in Edmonton show your idiocy! For starters, I was there for most of it. I won't waste my time explaining my first hand knowledge of events because that would require several posts just to bring it down to a level you could grasp.

Obviously you missed it the first time so, let me spell it out for you again! The poison dwarf had nothing to do with putting together the 38 member Edmonton Investors Group (EIG). Nothing! Zero! Nada! Cal Nichols deserves all the credit! He worked his butt off to get it together. The ONLY THANKS the dwarf deserves from the city of Edmonton is giving them a chance to match Jay Alexander's $85 mil offer to buy the Oilers and move them to Houston. In fact, Jay Alexander already had the dwarf???s approval in principle. The city, Cal Nichols and the EIG pleaded with him not to pull the trigger, to give them a chance. He relented at that point and worked with them, which is what you would expect a comish to do. Those are the facts. Can you muster enough brain juice to get it this time?

As for the dwarfs job performance as a comish in general? The proof is in the pudding! But that's a subject for another time.

Just what Pat Quinn would love to have in Edmonton! Another player with no work ethic!
Posted Sunday November 22, 2009, About: Phoenix to Quebec?
whale2, you should know that the PD had nothing to do with putting together a group of 38 local investors to keep the Oilers in town. To the contrary! Les Alexander had the PDs blessing to buy them in fact.

It was Cal Nichols who worked his butt off to put the Edmonton Investors Group together (I said EMG before, my bad) and rescued the Oilers from a certain departure for Houston. They stuck their neck out and put their own money on the table to keep the Oilers in town.

The only thing Cal and EIG members asked the PD and the Govs was to give them a chance, small as it was, to match Les Alexander's offer of $85 mil. It was all their own money and their risk 100%. The equalization thing is an entirely separate issue. It helped them keep things together until the new CBA and the cap.

Let's give credit where credit is due! Three cheers for the EIG! Down with the hideous dwarf!

Oh! They need Gainey's permission to go home now? I guess all the other Russians who left to play in the KHL never heard of that rule.

Red Devils99, get off whatever it is you're smoking in your pipe! It's hallucinaogenic! The hideous dwarf "helped recruit" that consortium? You've got to be kidding me! He had nothing whatsoever to do with the EGM (Edmonton Management Group). They did all the work by themselves. They shelled out their own money and they worked extremely hard to sell the idea to the NHL govs and the dwarf. The only favor he did Edmonton in that regard was accepting the proposal. That's it!

Never. That's the point and that's why he's in deep sheyet! The Leafs pinned their hopes on him being able to turn minor leaguers into all-stars.
