I am interested in seeing if Snyder does anything. In the past, he has been hands-on in the worst way as an owner. In this situation, though, his teams future is RG3. Without him, they have no picks and will be trash for a very long time. I would be surprised if he stays quiet.
I agree. To your point, Ryan Clark wanted to play last year in Denver even though he almost died the last time he played in Mile High. Players think of there team and not letting them down. The coach needs to think about the whole picture and the safety of the players
Sorry, I had to rant. That game sickened me. Shanahans excuse was that RG3 said that he was ok. RG3 is a 22 year old that was playing in his first playoff game in front of a sold out crowd! I am stunned that Shanahan essentially bargained the career of RG3 + all of those picks traded to the Rams instead of using a damn competent backup. Its not like one has playoff experience and the other doesnt. wtf
I have nothing but respect for RG3 for being a tough SOB and trying to play through the obvious serious injury. HOWEVER, Shanahan should face some form of discipline. Even though he is great, RG3 is still a rookie and the adrenaline was flowing. The coach should be the level-headed one and take a young player with a serious injury out of the game. This game could have a major impact on RG3's career and the injury and pain also made him ineffective on the field. Shame on Shanahan. He definitely cost the team the game by not putting in Kirk Cousins and may have cost RG3 some of his explosiveness. /Steelers fan //RG3 is a athletic, slim rookie, not a 240 pound beast qb.
Magnitogorsk, or Magnetic Mountain, was one of the Soviet Unions largest industrial mining and refining projects. It was a gargantuan facility that was used to extract minerals. The soviets cut steps with safety and the entire area is essentially toxic. Crosby was smart enough to sit out a considerable amount of time with concussion-like symptoms. I do not see him risking horrific illnesses to play in a frozen tundra for a league with many players that would be motivated to intentionally injure him. Malkin is just trying to bolster the KHL
Last year, there was concern that LeBron would choke every year in the playoffs. This year, there is concern that Wade has a bum knee. Meanwhile, he just had the same surgery Kobe had on his knee and, if he doesn't play in the preseason, who cares? He has plenty of time until the Heat will need him
You had to bring that up lol. I wish the Gators would schedule Miami...that way I can see at least one quality team at Joe Robbie / Pro Player /Dolphins / Landshark/ Sun Life stadium. The last UF/ Miami game was great
Or maybe...just maybe...ive been juggling wasting time posting here and writing my paper. You can, of course, read into my posts more if you would like, but I am currently trying to write a rather annoying part
Yeah, I am pretty sure that most people that were angered at the vedicts did not read any of the actual documents from the trial and instead just read or watched the sensationalized media. Media is a business and more people want to see a "baby-killer" punished than have nobody to blame, so they painted her as guilty.
but, you can probably add Nancy Grace or just about any media coverage of a trial to the list of tv shows / media that give unrealistic views of the judicial system to the lay person
lol. Thats very true. I'm not claiming that all lawyers are brilliant, merely that trivializing a career for no reason other than a grammatical mistake is ridiculous.
I agree. Its pathetic that Shanahan is using the "RG3 said he could play" excuse. Real competitors always want to get on the field
Shame on Shanahan. He definitely cost the team the game by not putting in Kirk Cousins and may have cost RG3 some of his explosiveness.
