You know, if Pryor had committed to Tosu yesterday you would have been bragging to all the Michigan fans and Penn State fans and you know it. Now that he is holding back his decision you're just saying "Eh, we don't need him. We can lose BCS Title games without him!"

I'm a little surprised that PSU is being picked as low as fifth. I think anything below third would be a massive disappointment. I think a second place finish is certainly within the realm of possibility if they beat Wisconsin at home. Ohio State at home should be a victory as well.

The BTN network is having a hard time convincing Comcast to pay them what they expected to receive. Comcast is largest cable provider here in Pennsylvania an they want the BTN to be a part of one of their sports tiers instead of standard cable. I'm thinking that maybe the Big Ten thought their product was a little more valuable than what it really is.

In any event, Lee Corso mentioned this on Gameday the other day. What about Missouri? I would prefer to see Rutgers or Syracuse if they can't get West Virginia.

I'd love to see the Big East match wits from top to bottom of the conference with say, the Big Ten or ACC. There is no way they would win head to head matchups with either conference.

If this move doesn't demonstrate how much of a second-rate league the NHL has become than I don't know what will. You would never see a thing like this happen in the NFL, especially early in the season. Granted there are fewer games in the NFL, and it remains to be seen just how much "coaching" Arbour will actually do, but this is a ticket ploy, despite what the Islanders will tell you. They are bringing back a beloved coach for a special night. I'm sorry if I seem as if I am belittling the act, but I just couldn't believe it when I read this.

No doubt this is a great move for the Flyers, but I always hold back my thoughts until I see consistent goal tending. The Flyers will make the playoffs next year, but they aren't exactly ready to reclaim the Atlantic division just yet. What will help them is the losses the Devils are dealing with right now.

Anybody who questions Penn State as Linebacker U must have missed the likes of LaVar Arrington and Paul Posluszny. Be sure not to miss Dan Connor this year you poor unfortunate souls. Miami may produce some top quality linebackers, but at Penn State they don't have to pose or act like they have ants in their pants after a big play.

Well, I'll make a post related to the topic. I hope for the love of everything that Myers is mature enough to realize that he can't rush coming back. Yes, the Phillies need him in the bullpen, but they need him to be healthy in the bullpen more than anything else.
