No, he is absolutely not the next Tebow.

Actually, it's not. I would challenge you to find one, just one, set of university rankings that rates TCU higher than Florida. All of the university ratings I've looked at has Florida above TCU consistently, and it's honestly not even close.
Posted Thursday July 05, 2012, About: Gators recruit denied admission to UF
You have no facts or even actual knowledge, other than personal bias, to support all of your trollish posts.

If you look at the yearly Academic Progress Reports that the NCAA releases UF actually ranks among the best in the SEC and the nation. You can look up the scores here: http://web1.ncaa.org/maps/aprRelease.jsp

Just a little excerpt I pulled from an article released about the 2011 rankings: "Florida's football and men's basketball both had APR scores that ranked in the 80th-90th percentile among NCAA Division I schools."

Also, academic admission into UF is extremely difficult. UF only admits 6% of applicants with a GPA below 3.7. 82% of their admissions are from applicants with a 4.0 GPA or higher.

So please, before you make anymore comments detrimental to your intelligence, just save yourself some time and put your foot in your mouth before clicking the submit button.

Sanchez is on an extremely short leash. I have no doubts that he will be the starter when the regular season comes but you don't bring in a guy like Tebow without understanding the situation it's going to cause. If Sanchez has a bad game everyone in NY is going to be calling for Tebow to start.

Seems like RBs have less and less leverage now when holding out, MJD and Forte better get to work!

MJD holds out in the sun,
The Jags are getting drenched in more ways than one,
All this rain is a pain,
But this MJD contract stain
Is giving Jacksonville lots of negative pun.

I know it's his second time, I wasn't getting into the technicalities of the whole situation. My post was simply a sarcastic joke by saying that Jacksonville drafting him is what caused him to get drunk and drive.

Oh, don't confuse yourself with the ones you see on TV, those people are just saving their seats for the Florida - Georgia game.

I'm a glass is half full guy, I always find a way to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Unfortunately with being a Jag fan I find myself in a glass that's almost empty and arguing with the rest of the world that it's still half full.

Sure, as soon as we stop saying AP, CJ, CJ2K, AJ, A-Rod, etc.

They have a higher percentage to make the playoffs than they do of winning? Interesting.

I can see your name fits you well...

This is definitely true but the Packers have also been around since the start of the NFL. The Jaguars have been here since the 90s and a lot of the children that grew up watching the Jaguars are just becoming old enough to buy their own tickets now so it will get better but it's going to take some time. The best thing the team can do is win, if they win people will come.

Florida is good for golf, beaches and fishing and those are the top 3 reasons people move here, not football. I agree Florida is a tough draw but Jacksonville is the smallest market in Florida, has the youngest team and is doing the best so I think they have a good future as long as Khan is committed to keeping them here for the long haul.

Nope, never forgot that either but it's not the Jags are the only team that does that if they are close to lifting a blackout. At least they're close enough to buy the remaining seats, some teams aren't even close to lifting the blackouts....

Despite how it happens, the attendance percentage speaks for itself and San Diego, Cleveland, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Buffalo, Washington, Miami and Cincinnati all had lower percentages than the Jags last season.

Florida is full of transplant fans from other cities and retirees. College football does well though, at least in Gainesville.

I know it's near the bottom but many people have the assumption that the Jags are the worst by far and that simply isn't the case. However, for a team that hasn't been to the playoffs in 4 seasons, hasn't had a decent QB since Mark Brunell back in the 90s and is in a small market, 24th isn't bad compared to others.

Didn't mean back-to-back, not sure why I typed that...
Posted Tuesday June 12, 2012, About: MJD-Jags drama escalates, no-show likely
The Jags went the back-to-back AFC Championships in 1996 and 1999 and were one game away in 1998 and 2007. They had the best record in the NFL in 1999, went 14-2 but for some reason couldn't beat Tennessee, who accounted for their only losses of the season, including the AFC Championship.

They haven't been to the playoffs since 2007, which hurts. However, the Jags got rid of a big problem that they've had for a long time, Jack Del Rio. I still don't know how he made it as long as he did, Wayne Weaver must have really liked him.

However, despite the last 4 seasons of disappointment the Jags still mentioned to have the 24th best stadium attendance percentage and 25th best average attendance, they also haven't had a blackout since 2009. I know that's not great but it's not near the worst in the league either like most people think.

MJD won't sit out. Rashad Jennings is back from injury also, he was a good 2nd option to spell MJD before he was hurt. Who knows how well he'll be after injury but he should be a decent option. However, I don't see MJD holding out for a long time, he'll be back.

A lot of the pass protection issues were mainly due to a battered line, the Jags had 31 players on IR by the end of the 2011 season, including 3 offensive linemen.
