Posted Friday August 01, 2008, About: Favre considering Pack's $20M offer
Why does this make me think if Favre takes this, that he really was the **** in this whole fiasco. Up until hearing that he might take the non-bribe, I thought Green Bay management were being totally numb nuts, now I think Favre is starting to sound like that one crappy girlfriend that wanted you to invite her everytime you went somewhere, even though you knew she wasn't going to go; "I just want to know that I am wanted"...I just can't believe this whole circus was orchestrated by Favre to just take the money and run.
Posted Tuesday July 15, 2008, About: KU-UNC call Packer's last straw?
Ya, I agree, I used to love Billy Packer, but his senility was becoming evident. And anyone who thinks Packer hated the 'Heels are high. That guy was so one-sided towards the ACC I thought he was actually their spokesman.

Clark Kellogg is a dork and can't imagine the same guy that makes me mute the pregame and halftime shows (well, him and Seth Davis) will do any better though.

Come on, really...narcolepsy!...HAHAHAHA. Now at least someone on the Pistons knows how I feel everytime I watch them play...zzzzzzzzzzz....

Posted Wednesday April 23, 2008, About: Jets may trade up for McFadden
What exactly is a number 2 pick? I was certain it was based on team needs not draft standards (which include 2004 #2 pick Robert Gallery, 2003 #2 Charles Rodgers, 1998 #2 Ryan Leaf....). Seems number two picks are as dubious as #1 picks...
Posted Wednesday April 23, 2008, About: Jets may trade up for McFadden
"McFadden never carried the ball 20 times a game.... "

WHAT? 33 against Alabama, 34 against South Carolina, 32 vs. LSU...Hell there is only 3 games he didn't carry it more than 20 times a game, and that was against N. Texas, FIU, but also Auburn. He even averaged 24 carries a game in his sophomore year too...
Posted Tuesday March 04, 2008, About: Green visits Saints, Rams
I think the NFL Network is a bad idea. One over-reaction from a flailing Deion, and Trent might end up with a first, of probably many, off-field concussion. I think one more hit, and he might end up wearing a helmet permanently (and not a football one, but more like the one that short bus riders wear).

Posted Monday March 03, 2008, About: Beasley's got K-State coach's back
Hansbrough is a good player on a good team, Beasley is a great player on a decent team. I hate to think these collegiate awards (Wooden and Heisman) are to go to the best player on the best team...I think a great player on a mediocre team is even better cause if you are a coach on the opposing team, you game plan around stopping him. And no one really has. If you zero in on Hansbrough, other guys will kill you.

Plus Durant was POY last year and Texas wasn't one of the top teams last year.
Posted Thursday February 28, 2008, About: Packers believe Favre will return
"On Thursday, the Packers' official Web site briefly reported he was retiring, but the page under the breaking news section was live for only a few minutes."

What? It's not even April yet. I thought this retirement talk didn't get warmed up until after the draft.
Posted Monday January 28, 2008, About: Fassel or Spagnuolo in D.C.?
Bushwack, you have to think is this the opportunity that anyone would want to be head coach? An owner who dumps the guy who was supposed to be Gibbs' heir apparent, then puts in both offensive and defensive coordinators himself? Why wouldn't Spags just wait until next year when the Giants aren't in the playoffs and is in position to get a head coaching job somewhere where he can bring in his own coordinators?
Posted Friday December 21, 2007, About: Holt goes off on Rams coach
Yeah, but Holt is paid a lot of money to act like a professional. It's not about being human. Sorry but I have no sympathy for the man. Yeah, it sucks to lose, but if you can't deal with it, go sell cars for a living. Pro athletes make obscene amounts of money by CHOICE. Losing is part of playing a game (someone ALWAYS has to lose). Man up! The only place I lose it if I have a bad day is at home. I don't blow up at my boss!

BillBink | 12/21/07

You might need to go to a doctor, cause it is possible you are legally retarded! Act like no one has ever got mad at a boss. And what job do us schmucks have that we get paid 10x more than our "boss". If you think the environment of professional sports mirrors the rest of us and our professional lives, then seriously, you must be either naive or wear a helmet and ride a short bus to work.

Ummm congressional hearings are not a grand jury. Congressional hearings have not legal status, regardless of the oath. Congressmen are not lawyers (though they may have a law degree) nor are they judges, hence no obstruction of justice or perjury because congressional hearings (which are hearings and not an ongoing investigation by law enforcement) are not a court of law!
Posted Thursday December 06, 2007, About: The Ravens' referee repercussions
The interesting part about all this is not that the Ravens lost composure and fell apart in the forth quarter, but that the Ravens played like another team for the first 3 quarters. It was as if during the break between the 3rd and 4th quarters, the Ravens realized they were the 2007 Ravens and started playing like them. The end with the penalties (how did Bart Scott not get ejected is beyond me, even with 40 seconds left) was a manifestation of what Kornheiser said: tragic inevitability!
Posted Thursday November 15, 2007, About: Herschel wants to fight Spurrier?
Surprisingly the classiest in all this is the Florida Gator defense that was on the field who didn't actually start a fight! Imagine that. Of course the look on their face when the entire GA team stormed the field was a like a virgin watching a Ron Jeremy movie: shock, awed, and a little grossed out.
Posted Wednesday November 14, 2007, About: Marbury: I've got stuff on Isiah
It's all racial. Another plan by the white man to keep Starbury down! Starbury is just keepin' it real, and Thomas and the white media is just playa hatin'...its not judgement or intelligence you racists, its street smarts, you just disagree with his real-ness!

Personally, I think it is endearing to drag another man down with you because you don't get your way, but hey, what do I know, I'm 4 years old!

"B00bs are cool". Damn cursing filter.
Posted Tuesday November 13, 2007, About: Dolphins souring on Lemon
This is the NFL, nobody cares about baby's momma's drama as long as you can win games. However I agree, the headline of "Lemon Sucks" is hardly the breaking news fannation thinks it is. Here's another breaking news headline to put on the front page "**** are cool".
Posted Thursday November 08, 2007, About: McNabb: 'I'm not fully to blame'
Is it the scrutiny cause he is a black QB that is still making him suck this year. If it weren't for Westbrook and that ONE huge game from K. Curtis in the powder blue uni's, I think McNabb would be benched by now!
Posted Wednesday October 31, 2007, About: Will Brady pay for running up score?
I am not a Pats hater, and I get tired of these teams whining for getting points piled on them and post things like "get a better defense". BUT, that being said, this article basically says it's fair game to take Brady out for piling on points and I sort of agree. If you are up 30 and and there is a fumble or a pick, but prepared to scrape Brady off the turf after the play as every linebacker will be more willing to zero in on him.
Posted Tuesday October 30, 2007, About: Raiders to sign receiver/returner
Ya Payton, I was thinking the same thing. I almost feel bad for the guy because everyone had their claws into that kid at USC and this is how he turned out after waiting a year before getting into the NFL...
