Posted Monday January 05, 2009, About: Schottenheimer passes Spagnuolo on Jets list
Another bone head move by a front office that never will get it. Thats great for the g-men though.

Think about the idiot logic that goes into the statement that he "wasn't prepared", the guy interviews with 4 teams in 2 or 3 days in between getting ready for a playoff game and they expect him to have a complete turnaround senerio for all 4 clubs with 3 days notice in between preparing for the upcoming game ??....uuuummm yeeaaaah thaaats the ticket.

Either you like the way the guy carrys himself in general and see the way players respond to him or your the jets and are about to go 41 yrs without a championship...This time, i'm just glad their consistant.

How can you speculate on signing a guy next year, thats looking to sign a contract this year ?
Posted Saturday January 03, 2009, About: Cards, Vikings playoffs may be blacked out
Great fans..L.O.L ! ...You have to pander to sell out a playoff game ? You might as well move the team, when you local fans could care less about your team.
Posted Friday January 02, 2009, About: Toomer's Giants future uncertain
Plax could very well wind up in jail, moss has been inconsistant and injured, manningham has shown NOTHING ...unless a killer WR falls to us in the draft or FA...don't run Amani out on a rail just yet...the guys a class act.
Posted Friday January 02, 2009, About: Toomer's Giants future uncertain
Don't be supprised to see amani back with the gints in 09, He's a high character, savy, veteran that is well liked by the organization.
Just because their not persuing his resigning with great ferver doesn't mean their not interested in resigning him for veteran depth and leadership at the right price.
Amani will have to decide, if he's willing to start over, at this stage in his career or take a little less money and continue to enjoy the familiarity, friendships and comfort that come with playing an entire career for a class organization like the NY Football Giants..... Go Blue !
Posted Thursday January 01, 2009, About: Newman: 'Coward' tearing Cowboys apart
Even though dallas has multiple issues that will hinder next years try for the playoffs, the biggest concern is that their QB,who believes that being an NFL QB, is a seasonal thing you do, on the same level of importance as his golf handicap...I don't believe he can apply himself to the level of time and effort it takes for success at the pro level, regardless of anyones physical abilitys or natural talent..he's bought into his own celebrity, and seems to have a nonchalant attitude toward losing critical games, and his commitment to the game in general.

If you look at the general make up of teams that are in the playoffs this year, including last years bowl winner, you see rosters composed, not of "me me" primadonnas and high profile individuals, but rather guys buying into the team concept of self sacrifice for the purpose of winning. You need look no further, than the overnight rise of miami and atlanta this year for an example...no t.o.'s or packmans are required to win a championship, their downside is more than their worth.

Posted Monday December 29, 2008, About: T.O. backs Romo, offers Cowboys owner advice
If romo doesn't re commit himself to the game and his career he will find himself out of football or at least dallas in the near future.
I believe his cavalier attitude, and a love for the (TMZ type) media spotlight, combined with buying into his own celebrity can become his undoing.
Being a sucessful QB in the NFL requires an amazing degree of dedication and time commitment, and those requirements can't be "smiled away" on the side lines.
Can romo take a more serious approach to his work ethic ? Time will tell.
Posted Sunday December 28, 2008, About: Will Giants' Spagnuolo leave for head coaching job?
Last year the giants were the second youngest team ahead of green bays (2 years in a row now ) and having strahan and feagles is probably what bumped us out of the 1 spot.
I'm holding out hope, that ward can be comprimised with, we can pay him pretty good money with our cap space, especially if plaxico goes to jail.
I'm sure 4-5 mil. would be possible for ward, and jacobs gets the franchise tag if we can't sign him.
Posted Saturday December 27, 2008, About: Will Giants' Spagnuolo leave for head coaching job?
The core of the team is signed, and there will be very few departures, not to mention (but I will ) the same front office and staff that has put forth this team that is contending for a 2nd bowl.
The team also has a bunch of picks this year 2 #2s 2 #5s plus the rest of our own picks and weve seen what the gnts can do with young draft picks.
Don't look for this team to be anything less than a contender for years to come, osi will be back next year and maybe a reformed/repentant plaxico.....LOL ! (ya never know )
Posted Saturday December 27, 2008, About: Will Giants' Spagnuolo leave for head coaching job?
Coughlin is the oldest coach in the league and spags would be foolish to jump to a perenial loser team , rather than wait 1 or 2 years to inherit the gnts.
The gnts can give him another little bump in pay and promise the team to him when TC retires.
No different than seatle or dallas or indy have done.
Spags is a young man by coaching standards and there's no need for hasty foolish decisions, 2 years is a short amount of time to inheret the NY Football Giants !.

You are a programmed pawn and the reason we can't compete with other nations that aren't strangled by the "PC " noose, that the agenda driven media is strangleing america with.

I hate france more than they'll ever hate me..(another nation being destroyed from within by people that know nothing else )

America was the greatest nation before the media was controled by far left nuts and it would still be if it wasn't today.

Posted Saturday December 06, 2008, About: Cowboys' Barber uncertain for Steelers
Big ben fumblesack got all the credit that should have gone to bettis, the o-line, and pittsburgs D the year they won the bowl, while he threw 12 times a game for under 100 yrds a game....Wow ! .....way to hand that ball off superstar ben..has he ever played 16 games in a season once ?

2ndly, you play in a WEAK division ...So when your coach only allows you to throw short 10 or 12 times a game against weak competition, it's a little easier to have a good "rating". How many sacks does he needlessly take ? how many fumbles ? picks ?

little ben picksack gets to much credit for their wins and not enough blame for the loses, but man he can sure hand it off with the best of 'em
Posted Saturday December 06, 2008, About: Pierce: Didn't know Plaxico had gun
Yeah, it's not because nfl players are specifically TARGETED because they are rich like the armed robery of plaxs teamate a couple of days before this incident or the murder/robbery of shawn taylor ...Right ?? You should re-think what you think.
