The Mets biggest hole is starting pitching. Having Halladay with Johan would match up well in the playoffs with any team in the NL. All that aside, I'd like the Dodgers to be serious about this if they could get a window to offer him an extension.

ND could barely finish in the top half of a mediocre Big-10. If they want a chance to contend(not be favs, but contend) for a conference title they should realistically be looking at C-USA, MAC, or Sun Belt. Any Irish fan that has watched this train wreck over the last couple of seasons couldn't possibly think the Domers have a chance to win in the MWC, WAC, or any of the 6 BCS conferences.

The Bills get "first choice", but I doubt any of the big name coaches on the market would sign with anybody until Dan Snyder and possibly and possibly Jerry Jones have a chance to drive up the entire market.

Pete routinely replaced starters with 2nd and 3rd teamers in the second half when games would get out of hand. All that aside, this(USC being dethroned) is only good for the PAC 10 if the conference can represent at the bowls like last years 5-0 record.

Your almost right Sandy, but I say if you are going to cheat, win. If Mike (I am a Man) Gundy couldn't use T. Boone Pickens's billions of dollars to at least win a division title (not mentioning a BCS berth) then they should get the death penalty. That poor(rich) sap has sunk $165 million into the program 3 years ago and all he has to show for it is trips to the Independence Bowl(W), Insight Bowl(W), and Holiday Bowl(L). When Reggie Bush was at USC his parents received free rent (from non-USC related sources) and the school won 2 National Titles, another BCS Title appearance and 2 Heisman's(Bush + Lienart). That has to be a much more economic use of funds and in these tough economic times Americans should appreciate the value Pete gets on the their dollar.

Thsi is a bit early to get too excited, but USC is a great fit for any OT wanting to make a name for himself and prepare for the next level. Pairing him (and Smith or Kalil) with Matt Barkley will keep the Offense consistant for the next few years. Time for Pete to clsoe the deal!!!

With the Vikes doing this well I'm sure a new stadium proposal will be on the ballot in no time and with the LA stadium going forward they will be blackmailed into passing it, Childress gets his cash, and Favre gets to stick it to the Pack again.

According the LA Times, the Dodgers are lsited as the sole property of Frank McCourt. That aside, it was unclear in the article if they had a pre or postnuptual agreement. If not, it would be unlikely that he could buy her out of their remaining assets while still keeping enough cash around to run the Dodgers like a big market club.
