If you would please go back and read what I said. I never said that Joe Johnson wasn't Atlanta's 1st option. I said Atlanta won't make a deep playoff run with him as their 1st option and that I don't believe he is a max player. I said I think he would be better served as the 2nd option on a good team.

Please make sure you understand what someone says before you jump on them and call what they say "insane."

Agree completely with left. I just can't see giving 119 million to your supposed "best player" that averaged 12 PPG in the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Magic. I've never thought of Joe Johnson as a max player. The Hawks will never make a deep playoff run with Joe Johnson as their best player.

Don't get me wrong, he's a really good player, but I think he would be better served as the 2nd option on a good team. That's just my opinion.
