No certain who would be better - Obama or Hillary - but I do think Obama has a better chance of winning. Extremely sexist remark - we are a long way from electing a woman president because of biases women have, not the biases men have.

Used to like McCain the Maverick, hate him in his new persona of Extreme Right **** kissing old GOP party line guy. What exactly is he proposing to change to improve any of the situations of any major issue?

I had Dish satellite TV (about the only cable you can get in Alaska outside the cities - kind of funny to see the dishes pointing directly at the horizon to catch the satellites over the equator). It was expensive when you get all the hidden costs and hardware, service was frequently lost due to weather, etc. Customer service couldn't be worse. If you do get it, after the 1st year's contract is up, call back to cancel - stop before cancelling - they will probably offer to drop the cost about $10. Don't buy used receivers unless you can confirm they are paid up and not assigned (they won't start new service if an old account is assigned to it and has an outstanding balance). Unless you need it to get a favorite cable network, stick with old fashioned cable, use it for hi-speed Inet, and go to vonage to save some bucks.
