As a good friend (yes, I'm assuming a lot there!), out of the goodness of my heart, I've got to smack you for not seeing Slapshot. Though, as noted, stay away from the "sequel." I'm sure I won't be smakced for not having seen that one, but it has one of the lesser Baldwins (read not Alec) so you know it has to be awful. So here it is, don't be personally wounded: you are an awful human being for not seeing Slapshot. Way worse than a Nazi robbing a kitten.

You are a good sport seabird. And it could be worse - knowing Baun-ded's wicked sense of humour you could have been forced to add some inappropriate statement or other to all your posts for two weeks!

The best thing about this is is I can do this without the wife ever catching on. All I have to say is "Honey, I heard about this great move Paul Newman is in, it's even better than Cool Hand Luke or Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, that I think I should go out and get right away". And she'll say "What are you waiting for, the pocorn and beer is on the way....."

I haven't let the Mrs. anywhere near FN since my temporary Avatar change. She has enough ideas of her own about that already.....I did however fill her in on the fact that I am required to watch Slapshot. When I told her I had to get a hockey movie featuring her favorite movie star she said who, Liam Neeson???? Sheesh. Cmo'n I said you can do better than that....
And listen up, she's an Irish red head with a temper to match so before I let her know you're calling her Mrs. Dopey I'm going to give you a couple of days to head to the NW Territories. She's not fond of the cold so she won't bother to hunt you down there.....

And after all this, I can say is this movie BETTER BE GOOD!!! LOL.
