Why am I talking about non sports stuff?:

1. Worst NBA Finals in a long time. I'm indifferent towards the Cavs and I HATE the Spurs, so no reason to watch

2. I've never been a huge baseball fan, unless I'm at the game and baseball's season is 180 FRIGGIN' GAMES LONG! Virtually no story line that's relevant today, will be in 3 months. It's too long to care right now.

3. It's too early to talk NFL, and anyone who does is an ESPN clone. Tampa Bay is on the clock!

4. I love college football, but it's a little early and too many of you are pro-sport apologists

5. Hockey's over...oh wait that doesn't matter, no one cares about it anyway.

6. I'm not rich, boring or old enough to care about golf.

7. Tennis - see golf....eh maybe, I kinda like tennis sometime, but no one interesting since Agassi

8. I love soccer, yes I said it, but I just feel like we're watching rejects when I watch the MLS. It's sorta like watching the Arena Football league

9. UFC/ Boxing - Just not my thing. It's kinda like watching that MTV show scarred or something. Yeah sometimes injuries are pretty amazing, but I need a little more strategy, watching pple get injured gets boring.

10. Strong Man Competition - I have a phobia of men named Magnus

11. Poker - NOT A SPORT!

12. Oden vs. Durant - Too many of you drink the media kool-aid, you believe whatever they tell you. No one can make the argument that Durant will be a better pro than Oden without all of you simultaneously citing Jay Bilas and the rest of the sports media gang that thinks they're omniscient. Jordan beat Ewing every time, but all of you still probably recite "big men win championships" in your sleep. So we can't have honest discussion.

14. It happens all the time! Find one sports website that doesn't mention pop culture. You couldn't get away from Sopranos yesterday!

UFC has a ton of strategy involved. How can you rip on other people constantly for buying into the media hype when you are buying into the media/government/boxing promoter talking points that UFC is all gore and violence. The sport has evolved since its early days. Maybe you would enjoy it more now.
