I can see your skins getting 1 or 2 guys there for value...But VALUE doesnt win the division. The Skins need depth at LB, Saftey and O-Line...Instead of Building for the future, Snyder takes the sexy pick's AGAIN with Kelly, Thomas and Davis. Tell me who is gonna spell London Fletcher??? He's in his 10th year... Besides starting LB's, the LB's are MORE THEN WEAK. The depth at OL is laughable at best for the skins. Like I said, I can see 1 Wr and a TE. But 3 pass catchers in the second, when they OLD and NOT DEEP at alot of spots seems stupid....

You don't have to win the division to make the playoffs and win a super bowl(Giants, Steelers, Broncos, Ravens...etc.). Also, Any GM especaiily the best of all time, Bill Polian will tell you if you have to choose between Value and Need you ALWAYS go for value.

Taking the WRs and the TE WAS BUILDING OUR FUTURE. You obviously odnt understand that the weakest part of the team was the offense, to be specific passing offense. Also, the fact that we are instituting the West Coast offense and Thomas, Kelly, and Davis fit the West Coast perfectly in every way.

Another point, you get value and build for the future in the draft, you add depth through free agency, theres still gusy out there in free agency and rookie free agents who could end up being great players, weve seen it happen before.

Whos gonna spell London Flether: HB Blades. I can tell you dont follow the REdskins....AT ALL. HB Blades had the best training camp and preseason of almost any player in the league last year, he's excellent depth. Khary Campbell is another backup LB who played very well last season when he spelled Rocky McIntosha nd Marcus Washington. Did I forget to mention that Rocky and Marcus had outstanding seasons last year for an 8th ranked defense?? Look at the stats player.

I agree about the depth at OL, but if all the starters stay healthy, knock on wood, thats one of the best O-line in football hand down without an arguement. HAving said that, Stephon Heyer and Alexander did very well last year when Jon Jansen and some of the Guards were hurt. Remember, Jon JAnsen was out the whoe season basically and Stephon Heyer held down his spot the whole time. Dont say there isnt depth. And we added one OL in the draft who can play four positions on the line. Plus the undrafted free agent OL we have whos also versatile.

The second round picks were great picks and you seem to be the only person who doesnt think so. THey are all proven hard workers, have amazing talent, were great value where they were taken, fit our system perfectly and will add the kind of versatility that the PAts and Colts have on offense, with multiple WRs and TEs that can play multiple positions: FB, H-Back, TE, Slot. Once again, you're all alone in this opinion...at least I havent heard anyone talk bad aboutt he draft like you have.

Anyway, It's hard to believe Vinny Cerrato and Dan can have a good draft, I know that first hand, maybe thats why you dont believe in it, but you'll see, just wait....

That's a good point too. But, making a play call can be just as crucial as a draft pick. All you get is 40 seconds to decide where to put the guys that you draft. Yeah your right those draft picks can be the difference between a Super Bowl or not..but so can those play calls. You can spend as much time as you want on draft picks but those 40 seconds are crucial into putting those guys in a position to win. But again..great blog.

Thanks for the comments. After reading your blog about three times now, I can see that I was a little harsh in my comments. I just don't think the Suns situation is all that bad. I see some other people here ready to fire Kerr and jumping off of roofs, and it's my opinion that it's a simple fix.

BTW: I understand that Shaq thing. As a Laker fan, I remember all the problems he gave the Suns. It's all good.

I see your point. But, the draft is so important that teams have 2-3 months to decide who they'll draft. But again I do see your point now that I've had a day to think about it.

If anybody sees this post, could you please explain to me what the Throwdown thing is about and how it works???

Thank You!

One person will start an argument question, and it will be posted. I think there is about 24 hours for another person to take the TD (throwdown) and become the opponent. The starter of the TD will deliver the 1st argument, or telling why they think a certain thing, and it will be posted. Then the opponet has 24 hours or so, to come back with another argument. I think each person gets 2 times to post something. Then people have a day or two to vote, and at the end of the time, whoever has the most votes wins. Either of the opponents can forfit at anytime, and in that case the other person wins.

yeh i here ya but i still think jones was a great compliment but i understand your reasoning though, And i dont like jordy nelson when wehad alot of better Wrs to choose from.

It would be interesting if Perrilloux would go to Michigan. I think he will get a second chance and if he can go to a Division 1 school without sitting out, then all parties involved should consider it.

We do have ruvell martin but nelson is an upgrade......i think

May 2, 2008  04:55 PM ET

Well for example this year the way SI had it set up where LSU would of had to go through USC, UGA,then the national title which is a much tougher road than OSU who would of had to go through Kansas and VT

May 2, 2008  08:25 PM ET

it's just an example, but my point is you can't really see which team is better when you have so many players injured from the previous 4 games because if your playing some of the top teams in the nation you are gonna ge beat up. USC is a prime examle, we all know who the better team was it's just one was way more beat up than the other.

yeah he was but nelson looks like a faster version of martin, either way we have scary Wrs.
