Wow...river1075 I actually do have my own computer. I'm not the average 20 year old....but that was funny anyway. Your right I can only guess the greatness of MJ from what I see on ESPNClassic. But I watched Kobe score 81 points in game...61 points in a game he sat out the whole 4th quarter. I just don't think Jordan was the scorer that Kobe is but like I said he could have a slight edge overall. And I get so tired of that old school "when I was in school we walked 30 miles in 10 feet of snow" and "Nothing is as good as it used to be" crap! The simple fact is players are bigger, stronger, faster, and more athletic now than their were in the past. Oscar Robertson was not 6'8'' and 260 lbs. LeBron is the same size as Karl Malone with a guards skill set. If you put LeBron in the league when Oscar played and Centers were 6'8'' tall he would dominate and win the title every year!!! Oscar Roberson is Deron Williams size would he really average a triple double in the NBA today?

Just saw your post Fris. I think "The Big O" would average a triple double as the league is full of high school kids. When Oscar played, freshmen couldn't play varsity college basketball! About size....Dennis Rodman averaged 20 rebounds a game for the season during the Jordan era...he was lucky to be 6-6. It isn't all about size and dunks. Oscar was a great mid-range jump shooter. With all the teams and all the young and under developed kids in the NBA, it is watered down.

AHH...the ignorance of youth. Save this and read it in 20 years. You will laugh so hard.

even tough you probably never saw Big-O play ball, i think your comment is right on. He was fast, smooth as silk, great hands, could jump AND take it to the hole. he also filed the lawsuit that created todays NBA. he would certainly be one of the top 3 players in the league today. by the way, nice paint job!
