Wallace is 24 and not in the bigs. You aren't gonna be a star if at age 24 you aren't in the big leagues yet. Wallace has also been traded by 3 teams, so every team he has been with has seen something in him that they don't like. I think Wallace can be an everyday 1B, but he wont be batting cleanup, and that is what you want from a 1B.

Gose is young, and has a much higher ceiling to be a star, and can replace Wells in CF when Wells starts to slow down in 3-4 years when Gose is ready.
