Hey I'm Alex Koma. I was born in Pittsburgh, PA and I am a diehard Steelers fan, with a soft spot for the Penguins, Pirates and Pitt Panthers as well. I was relocated to Washington D.C. at an early age, but I'll always be a Pittsburgher. Over the last few weeks, the NBA has had to start dealing with a very interesting problem: the defection of low level players to international clubs that can pay them exorbitant amounts of money due to the exchange rate. As another 4th of July passes, so too do the Favre retirement/un-retirement rumors surface. While officially the Packers have not responded to any of the rumors regarding Brett Favre's potential return to the NFL after his announced retirement in March, sources close to Favre assert that he is serious about continuing to play and reports have surfaced that he has contacted GM Ted Thompsen about the situation. I am going to be totally honest here. For many years, I have detested, despised and harbored a general dislike for the sport of soccer.
