Alex K

Hey I'm Alex Koma. I was born in Pittsburgh, PA and I am a diehard Steelers fan, with a soft spot for the Penguins, Pirates and Pitt Panthers as well. I was relocated to Washington D.C. at an early age, but I'll always be a Pittsburgher. I've also got family and friends in Morristown, New Jersey and Dallas, meaning I am also a big Nets and Mavericks fan. That's it for me.

Over the last few weeks, the NBA has had to start dealing with a very interesting problem: the defection of low level players to international clubs that can pay them exorbitant amounts of money due to the exchange rate. None of the players leaving have been anything but role players, with Josh Childress, Carlos Arroyo and Earl Boykins highlighting the otherwise unspectacular list, but recently other big stars have made comments suggesting they would consider international offers. A source close to LeBron James stated that he would consider an offer by a European team if the club could give…
