To be robbed - one must actually be the undisputed owner over something and then have it taken away. Yes, UT has a compelling argument. So does OU. Then Texas Tech does as well since you cannot throw a team out just out of convenience. All conferences (to some degree coaches) have let this system stay in play. Someday you think that the folks over at NCAA would figure out that a playoff is needed and helpful to football. There is no legitimate way (barring upsets) for the Big 12 South winner to be figured out. Heaven forbid Alabama lose to Auburn then beats Florida or a similar situation. Then you could have OU lose then Texas Tech go to Big 12 title game. Utah has beaten TCU and BYU by 24 points. Plus they beat Michigan on road and OREGON STATE. Try that on USC. For the last 3 weeks all you have heard is how the Cowboys are dead. That they won't be going to the playoffs. Throwdowns and Blogs have been stating this as if it is a fact. Sadly, those who have said this including many sportswriters have been oblivious to the facts. Before injuries to Romo, Felix Jones, and 1/2 their secondary. They were 4-2. With a 2pt loss to their rival and an overtime loss to a 7-3 team that is undefeated at home. Romo was the 2nd rated qb with an offense averaging nearly 30pts a game. Oh poor Brucie. Actually you are wrong again. a) If you are referring to how many people read my blog then it is not "poorly read," unless you are insinuating that those who are reading it are doing so poorly; rather you it would be a poor viewership. Although the number of hits on it is just fine. MAY I suggest that when another person states someone should refer to a dictionary or grammar lessons they not state in the same sentence "my I suggest." Actually you never addressed my points. It was in your comment that you stated the big 12 plays creampuffs in nonconference. Yet, when I pointed out only 1 sec team played a top 25 team (wk 1 alabama v clemson) yet 4 Big 12 teams have done so (3 victories) your response to the facts were silence. When I pointed out again that I was referring to this year and not last year ... silence When I refuted your comment that the top Big 12 teams will lose to the lower halves as well - pointing out they have played many of the teams you noted and not one loss to an unranked team. Your response... silence Silence might be your best bet after all

"Wow.. way to impress. 'your blog is so poorly read' I believe the word would be written." No sir, the correct term is "read" as in anyone reading. My I suggest a dictionary and grammar studies. Although, if you choose to refer to your blog as poorly written I won't attempt to argue the point. However, for future reference: "to read (third-person singular simple present reads, present participle reading, simple past and past participle read) 1. (transitive, intransitive) To look at and interpret letters or other information that is written." As for any of your "points" I addressed all of those in my first post - which by the way did not attempt to insult or belittle you. If I am considered a "redneck" then I prefer that label instead of whatever you consider yourself to be. Also, I might point out that those friends of mine that you accuse of being "4 other SEC homers" are actually fans of several different conferences. True, some do live in the South, but have allegiances elsewhere. By the way, it is my belief that friends are measured in quality and not quantity. And amazingly, with only my paltry "20 friends" to your amazing "many" friends, it would seem that many more people would prefer to READ (as in to read) my posts as opposed to yours. And lastly (and truly the last I time I will address this with you) I stated my points in my original comment on your blog post. I also responded in the sarcastic, banal tone that you wrote the blog post. I did not result to personal insults, or belittle you in any way - other than have the audacity to disagree with your egotistical view of being the only one right. Now I am truly done with this and you. I have much better things to do than waste my time here. If I desire intelligent, insightful, thoughtful discussion about college football, I will look up one of 20 friends. Wow.. way to impress. "your blog is so poorly read" I believe the word would be written. I used one term 'redneck' which fit meaning you stick to SEC homerism, don't address any points, and then you insult me for 10 lines and I am the one with issues. I have many friends on the site you have 20. The only people at your aid is 4 other SEC homers who left comments. Get over yourself. If you can't take a little heat and actually counter the points made then maybe you should take up something a little more easy like knitting. Plus how does one argue homerism when they are arguing for their conference of choice as well. Hmm. I see you still never responded to my point that (1) I was talking to this year not last. (2) It is the Big 12 that is 3-1 in top 25 non conference games while the SEC as a whole played 1 top 25 nonconference team (3) Your reference that Big 12 top teams will lose to lower tier teams once play them -- which I already countered pointed out the numerous ones they already have played without any loss to an unranked team by the 6 ranked Big 12 teams. 4 top 10 by the way.

Unraveled? No, not hardly by any like you Armentrout. However, I do hate to lower myself to the level of a classless clown such as yourself. As I pointed out earlier, it would seem that the vast majority of the comments on your blog appear to agree with me that you are a football ignorant blow-hard, who like any petulant child, resorts to bluster and tantrums when someone dares to disagree with you. However, your ignorance is exceeded only by your total lack of class and your nonexistent social skills. It is no wonder that your blog is so poorly read as most other people must have also recognized you for the pompous jerk that you are. I am sure you are so proud of your dialogue with me as it is the only way any of your lame posts get read. That might explain why my "homers" came to my "aid" and you stand alone. Judging from the sparkling personality and wit you have demonstrated so far, I am quite sure that you are use to being by yourself. However, I am through wasting my time with you. If you can bring some intelligence and civility to your discussion, you are welcome to post on my blog. If not, please keep your poor attitude and bad manners to yourself. In addition, to any other Big 12 fans that might have been offended by any of my comments: I do apologize. My comments were directed only at Mr. Armentrout and his insulting behavior and I in no way believe that he is representative of the class of Big 12 fans. I am sure that the majority of you also share my disdain for him and the poor light he casts on other Big 12 fans. As for the SEC/Big 12 discussion, all will be told by seasons end. We'll see how the final standings find both conferences.
