It's St Patrick's Day, and since I'm not in college anymore....it doesn't mean a whole lot. I have a sore throat, thought about playing golf outside, but decided to play TW PGA Tour on the Wii instead.
On to other stuff.
-The Chiefs are quietly improving their offensive line. Last week they signed Casey Weigman, who used to be with the Chiefs before spending two years in Denver. This is the last weekend of the regular basketball season for most mid-major conferences. The BCS Conferences are coming down the stretch. There are some excellent games on today. NASCAR is out in Vegas, and the PGA Tour in is Phoenix. And the Olympics are wrapping up including the epic match-up in Men's Hockey between USA- Canada.
All of that is going on. I'll probably watch part of everything I mentioned. However, I am such a Seamhead. The one thing I'm most excited about this weekend...is Wichita State starting their baseball…

Can the NHL Capitalize from USA Hockey Success

Being too young to remember the "Miracle on Ice", and growing up in Kansas, hockey was the furthest thing on my radar growing up. I mean I knew there was this game called hockey, but I knew nothing about it.
It's wasn't until I moved to the east coast for college, and lived with a bucnh of guys from nothern states did realize how cool hockey could be.
