The St. Louis Rams were known as the Greatest Show on Turf from 1999-2001 (and 2003), but after the debacle that the Rams have converted into, I’ve begun to believe that the new name of the team should be called the Most Myriad Injuries on Turf, the MMIOT (sounds like the abbreviation of a massive multiplayer RPG). As if it were yesterday. The San Antonio Spurs are returning to the Western Conference Finals for the third time in the last five seasons. There’s a stat for you. Holding off the Suns in a Game 6 isn’t an easy task, and the stars of the Spurs shown that. Tim Duncan had himself a game with 24 points, 13 rebounds, and 9 blocks. Coming into the 4th Quarter, Nash had 3 points. Not too impressive. Thinking over the Stoudemire, Diaw/Horry suspensions the past two days have made me believe a whole new way of the whole rule and what it means to have it in the NBA.
