offense: I thought our passing game was way to conservative and nowhere near its potential. We ran the ball very effective edge got 100 yards with a 4td avg and hightower was a nice complement and will b for the rest of the year. Our line did a fairly decent job protecting kurt and opening some holes for the Edge. The main thing is that we need to cut the conservative offense crap and start opening up. I have been saying this before camp started and I am still saying this....the Cards Defense is LEGIT! I know its oakland and its preseason but they had their starters play into the 3rd quarter and our offense had 3 ints which led to good field position but still they could not manage to score. We were getting pressure, forcing turnovers, and making plays. I really feel we are going to have few problems on defense especially if we keep putting the pressure on the QB. I thought the Cardinals played an overall very good game. I first want to touch on Niel Rackers real quick...... Why doesnt Whisenhunt bring in another kicker to compete with rackers??? Opening kickoff out of bounds and missed an extra point.... it was disgusting, he is not a clutch kicker and we need to look into this problem. The defense played very well. The first team bended a little bit, but did not break holding KC to a couple field goals. We shut down the passing game and controlled Johnson.
