I am a recent law school graduate (and multistated the MI bar!!!) who happens to have, according to my fiance, an unhealthy obsession with sports, especially all things college football. I grew up in Michigan and follow home state teams first, but try not to discriminate against any. My heart, however, is with the Green Bay Packers.

I have been absent from blogging of late, but here are a few quick things I have to say as to the current statuts of things:Hawai'i is undefeated and several two loss teams were considered for the national championship, without more than a quick, dismissive breath toward the Warriors' accomplishments this season. Since everything in the current system depends on how people vote, and everyone hates the Big Ten, why didn't they vote 2-loss USC ahead of OSU, or 2-loss Oklahoma (they played and won a championship game). Michigan State held serve as the perennial underachiever of the Big Ten, ripping away the title they had shared with the Hawkeyes in a very John L.-esque…

This, I believe, is unfair.Matt Ryan has been a stud all year, and his game on Thursday night in Blacksburg (outside of the first 50 minutes or so) is one to remember--upchuck and all. That throw to win the game (which he had to make twice because of a penalty) was…
