Being a Raider fan has been very challenging the last 6 years. The last 4 weeks have been downright difficult. It has been nearly impossible to listen to any NFL related sports talk because I know that I will have to hear how dreadful the team was-is-forever will be.So as I prepared to watch the Philadelphia vs. Oakland game this weekend, I did not don my normal Raider apparel (has it worked the last 6 years?). Let me save you a visit to my profile by letting you know upfront that my throwdown record is an even 0-0-0. Pootie's Glass Half Full Moment for Loveit (10/27 edition): 1) 4 more wins and the Raiders will be bowl eligible. Tampax Bowl here we come!!!! 2) Jamarcus only had 1 more INT than Mark Sanchez had hotdogs, which is a serious improvement from last week when Jamarcus reportedly had 3 more hotdogs than Sanchez' INTs (5) 3) The Raiders have scored 2 more pts this year than the Rams through 7 games (62 v. 60) 4) Only one more loss.... er game.... until the bye week

Pooties' Glass Half Full Moment for Loveit (10/29 edition): 1) The Raiders scored an offensive touchdown for the 2nd straight week 2) The Raiders now officially average over 10 ppg 3) The Raiders are only 1/2 game out of 2nd place in the West 4) Tom Cable STILL has not checked in to the Alameda County Correctional Facility All in all, a damn good week for the Silver and Black

I was going to rub your face in yet another pathetic display, but instead, I thought I'd be the glass half full guy and focus on the accomplishments of the Committment to Excrement. Besides, there's plenty to be excited about if you're down with the Raiders Here are Pootie's Week 5 highlights for the Raiders: 1) They scored an offensive TD 2) Jamarcus threw for more than FOUR TIMES the yardage that Derek Anderson did. 3) Jamarcus had just under 3 times as many completions as fumbles lost 4) Tom Cable hasn't taken up residence with the Alameda County D.O.C. (yet) 5) Only 3 more losses...er games until the bye week!
