Retired public school educator of 34 years. Big Astros fan since their inception into the National League in 1962. I will probably die before they win a World Series. At least they finally got in one in '05. I was a huge Oiler fan until the Benedict Arnold of TX, Bud Adams moved them to TN, but now we have the Texans and maybe they'll get to .500 this year. We do have the World Champion Spurs, the class act of the NBA. I was a Cowdog fan until the **** jones bought the team and fired Landry over the phone and now I pull for them to lose against all teams except the redskins and raiders who I just can't make myself root for. GO STROS, TEXANS, & SPURS!!!!

It just seems like those of us that are Cowdog haters can't get a break when it comes to getting a Texas team other than that other team from Dallas. There is only one person more dispised in my sports world than Jerry Jones and that is Bud Adams. Those of us who grew up Oiler fans and saw them as the 2nd best team in the NFL behind Pittsburgh those Earl Campbell years, now have to watch another group of inept owners and administrators take forever to build another contender. It's now 5 years and we're still waiting on a .500 team and facing a Jacksonville team…
