Lyle Oberkreser

I love sports, but mostly football and baseball. I am an avid fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and attend many games each season. I also cheer on the Dolphins and Jaguars. Actually, I root for all Florida teams. Even the Devil Rays and the Marlins. I love the Gators, Bulls, Seminoles and Hurricanes. I despise Ohio State and Notre Dame. I also hate the Steelers, Bills and Redskins. I also love movies of all types, except westerns, and going to Walt Disney World.

I knew it.  I just knew it and I siad it a hundred times before the game.  Gruden made a mistake resting all his players the last two weeks of the regular season.  The Bucs had no chance on Sunday.  It was never close.  I was there and was very excited the way the first quarter went, but then suddenly it was like a switch was clicked and the game was over.  Once Spurlock fumbled to open the third quarter, there was absolutely no chance.  Garcia looked rusty.  Where was Galloway?  What happened to Earnest Graham?  It was just embarassing. …

Well, the Bucs really blew it in Houston yesterday, but you cannot blame McCown.  The play calling was awful and the defense did a piss poor job on third downs.  When you can't stop a team on third down you are in trouble.  But, the tone of the game was set in the first quarter on the Bucs opening drive.  Gruden decided to go for it on 4th down instead of punting.  Bad decision.  That early in a game you must be thinking about field position.  WHen you have arguably the best punter in the league, why not try to pin Houston back as far as possible. …
