I'm a huge MLB, NFL, NCAAF and NCAAB fan. The NBA, David Stern, Clay Bennett and Howard Schultz are horribe. I will not support that organization. ever. It hasn't been very easy to be a sports fan in Seattle. UW provided me with some great memories as a young kid with their run in the early 90s. I wasn't alive to see the Supes win in '79 and could care less about the Storm's title. I won't gripe about the 05 Superbowl, but come on you know we got shanked. I feel sorry for people who didn't get to grow up listening to Dave Neihaus.

If you live in or around the Seattle area you probably know that Steve Riable does the local news, calls the seahawks game on the radio with Warren Moon, and was a receiver for the Seahawks back in the day. Listening to the games on the radio also means that you know Riable refers to Hasselbeck simply as Matthew. I always thought it was kind of odd and a tad bit creepy, but what do I know? On a few recent 'Sportscenter' episodes the talking heads made a point of calling the QB Matthew and making sure that everyone else does too.
