Why is there even a debate about this? If it weren't for surgery and coming out of the bullpen for 4 years, Smoltz would probably be around the 250-260 range in wins. There is an article in the AJC today that says this: Hall of Famer?? How in the hell is that even a debate? Smoltz won number 199 last night and winning his 200th will put him in a pretty elite class. Not to mention the 154 career saves to go on top of that. The decision to suspend Amare Stoudemire and Boris Diaw is possibly the biggest load of crap in playoff history. The "interpretation" of the rule is correct, but the rule is such garbage. It made sense to use it in the Heat vs Knicks series 10 years back, but this was a far different situation. I didn't see Mike D'Antoni clinging to the ankle of Robert Horry. My favorite professional league is the NFL by far. This offseason it has seemed that there is too much coverage about nothing. The freaking draft was hyped up since the Super Bowl ended. I love the Falcons and I was all about watching each of their picks. But there is just too much crap on ESPN lately. NFL Live is on every single day and the season is still 4 months away!!
