Should Vick's jersey have been taken down?

Michael Vick's football jersey was recently taken down from Warwich High School. This took place soon following the guilty plea surrounding the dogfighting. There are alot of side to this, both positiive and negative, such as: Why take away what he earned in high school? or that the jersey set a bad example for the students and athletes. Is it right?
