Bricks and Ivy Radio is an Internet Radio show and Podcast which attempts to find the true value of Cubs baseball inside the overwhelming tsunami of useless minutiae that fans live to discuss. It's just a stone romp, Folks...a truly great way to kill half an hour. Look for our Podcast in the iTunes Music Store, Yahoo! Podcasts, and Zencast. www.bricksandivyradio.com

Roethlisberger Takes Blame for Playoff Loss, Fart (Pittsburgh, PA) - Fresh off a first-round playoff defeat at the hands of the Jacksonville Jaguars - the second home loss to the Jaguars in four weeks - the Pittsburgh Steelers were down in the dumps Sunday. And no Steeler was dumping harder than quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. "I have no excuses for my play out there. I stunk," Roethlisberger said at a Sunday morning press conference. "We tried to come back after I had crapped things up, but by the end of the fourth, I was gassed." But the stinking didn't end for…

Prior Undergoes Shoulder Surgery - McDonald's Transfers Him from 15-day to 60-day Disabled List (Irving Park, IL) - If you ask the average baseball fan where Mark Prior is, you will probably get a muddled "I don't know." If you ask the average Cubs fan where Mark Prior is, you will either get an irate "who cares?" or a dispassionate "I think he's still rehabbing in extended spring training with the AAA club." But if you ask a resident of Irving Park in Northwest Chicago, you'll get a much more excited response: "That guy can sling a…
