Never thought at the beginning of the year, I'd be seeing the New Jersey Devils and the Los Angeles Kings fighting it out for the Stanley Cup... guess stranger things have happened. But both teams deserve to be here... West Conference #8 Los Angeles is riding the red hot Jonathan Quick through a 12-2 run in the playoffs, knocking out the #1, #2 and #3 seeds in the process (first team in history to do that!) and East Conference #6 New Jersey is getting better and better the more they play. It's not going to be a high scoring series... both goalies are playing like Conn Smythe winners right now…

Ahhh..., New York - New Jersey. These two rivals have hated each other forever and this series should be no different. Back in 1994 The Rangers ousted the Devils on their way to a Stanley Cup and it seems ever since, the rivalry has been heated... Brodeur has even said that he hates the Rangers. This should be a great series... Brodeur's playing like his old self, Lundqvist has been great throughout, both teams are good defensively (The Rangers have not allowed three goals in any playoff game yet) and both coaches want to win this series. So here we are..., Western Conference finals between Phoenix and Los Angeles? Disappointed that Nashville lost out as I thought they had a great team but, Mike Smith stole the show again! As for Los Angeles... I had a feeling they'd advance with the 'Philly Connection' of Richards and Carter as well as Quick between the pipes... St. Louis couldn't handle it and were swept away. I don't see a sweep here... Phoenix has proved that they are for real (regardless of possibly moving next year) and Doan and Co. look really good.
