Bottom of the first, the New York Mets down by 1 run. Reyes had already scored earlier in the inning. Endy Chavez on 2nd base. 2 Outs. Mike Myers pitching in relief for Darryl Rasner (who left the game with a broken finger. out for a month). David Wright coming to bat, and hits one deep to left field. WAY deep, over the bleachers and into Citi Field. The Mets would not look back and win the game 10-7. the mets eventually won the series against the yanks and question to be asked is, is this the mets' year? The only series they've lost this year was the first week in ATL and 2 weeks…
