Jeter Defiant A lot of people think he is an overpaid under achiever and is taking the fans for a ride. If he does not produce this year there is going to be a very nasty backlash against a guy that has been idolized for many years. If he produces fine - fans will be getting what they paid for. If he doesn't - he'll be viewed as greedy and as having put one over on the team and fans. The winds will change quickly and it could be ugly.
