This years NBA trade deadline moves were many and overall surprising. The couple that I will focus on will be the Carmelo Anthony deal to the Knicks, Deron Williams to the Nets, and Baron Davis to the Cavs.

In the 2nd piece in this series I would like to delve into three more stories from around the NFL. With the regular season ending and the playoffs beginning this weekend, there have been a lot headlines from the NFL that have been very interesting/disappointing/surprising. Florida States Bowl Win

I was very happy with the Florida State Seminoles Bowl victory over South Carolina. It was a good win over former Florida head coach Steve Spurrier as well as it ended a solid season with a 10-4 record. Since their dominance of the late 90s and early 2000s which resulted in 2 national title game appearances and one national title, things haven't been so good for the Noles who haven't had the same kind of performance since then. A lot of different factors have attributed to this, but with this season, they are looking like a championship calibler team once again.
