I'm mainly a baseball fan but I love nothing more than relaxing to a good hockey or NBA game. My favorite sporting event, though, is the Soccer World Cup, because it seems like the entire world stands still for some high intensity soccer. I hope you enjoy my opinions!

No postseason comes close to matching 2003.  List is only in the past 7 years.  Here’s my list: 1) 2003 What more could you ask for?  Marlins have great division series upset with the Giants (Bonds in his prime) and Boston barely gets by Oakland due to two questionable interference calls.  Two of the division series go 5 games and no sweeps.  BOTH CS series go 7 games, with Bartman killing the Cubs in one and Boone killing the sox in the other.  The Cubs have an absolutely stacked staff, with Wood, Prior, Clement, and Zambrano healthy.  You have the…

In all likelihood, the Yankees will miss the playoffs this season.  People are going to want answers, accountability, and most importantly, an exciting team to watch.  If the Yankees maintain the status quo, none of these prerequisites will not be met.  However, there is a very simple solution: Trade Bobby Abreu. Abreu is in theory a very good player.  When he has his head together, he can hit for power and extra bases.  He is an on base machine and steals plenty of bags.  The past five or so years, he has been a top twenty fantasy baseball player, which in…
