Flash back to December 30, 2007. Jay Cutler labored, he was tired, and the second quarter had only just began. The franchise quarterback couldn't explain why he was so tired, or why he had lost over thirty pounds since the start of the season. He hadn't been this lite since his freshman year at Vanderbilt. During the 2007 season, the Denver Broncos saw various injuries to their offensive line take place. Center Tom Nalen, Guard Ben Hamilton and backup tackle Ryan Harris most missed most of the year due to injures. Plus, Damial Graham, who is known as the best blocking TE in the league missed time with an injury. These injuries were never more apparent then in the last few games of the year. In week 15 Jay Cutler was sacked 5 times! And in the following week he was sacked 4 times! During these two games the Broncos offense was anemic as they scored a total of 16 points in the two games. Every offseason Denver Bronco fans wonder, Who will be the starting RB next year? Ever since Terrell Davis retired it has been a RB carousel in Denver, with a different back rushing for a 1,000 yards each year. The names include, Clinton Portis, Mike Anderson, Tatum Bell and Reuben Droughns. After making a name for themselves these backs all left Denver for more money, but didn't experience the same success.
