Well, I guess that's it. After spending about a month on FN and seeing that the Truth and Rumors are faulted (thus, just call it Rumors) and that throwdowns are built more around popularity than skill, I have decided that my time here has come to an end. I can't say that the Mitchell Reports release had anything to do with it, or that the Spygate factored into this decision, but I can say that for the most part, FN has become the breeding ground for incompetent middle schoolers who are as well versed, mannered, and informed as our President appears to be. Well, the report is out, and no surprise to some at the number of names and the lack of core evidence. In the court of public opinion, each of the 85 some-odd names are now guilty by association; even if a player did not use steroids, there is enough circumstantial evidence to provide the inkling that they have used or purchased for someone else to use. UCONN showed much promise in tonights game, but the #19 ranked Gonzaga showed that they already had it coming on. Despite lead changes to the final seconds and the fouling out of center-mark players, Gonzaga held on to defeat Connecticut. So, what does it all mean?Well, the obvious first...UCONN lost.
