I'm just going to do a routine look at the NBA MVP candidates and come out with my pick.

Kobe Bryant, SG, Los Angeles Lakers

Kobe is a talented player. He's somewhat overestimated as a shooter (45% this year, which is good, but not great), and is not nearly as good of a 3 point shooter as people believe (36% is only about average for a SG). Incredible athlete, for sure, and one of the defenders at his position.
