  Out with the bad and in with the good, right? I certainly hope so!  After interviewing 4 candidates, Dr Tom hired the people's choice; LSU Defensive Coordinator, Bo Pelini. This had to be a difficult decision for Osborne considering how close he is to Turner Gill (Head Coach @ the University of Buffalo). Turner is a honorable man and a good footbal coach, but I don't think he's ready for a program of this stature and magnatude just yet. Bo Pelini hasn't been a Head Coach until now, but has been a Defensive Coordinator for Nebraska, Oklahoma and LSU.…

OK kids, After a 5-7 season and too many embarrassing losses and a total lack of any kind of a defense........it's time for Tom Osborne to pull the trigger on Callahan and Cosgrove.  The "end of the season" evaluation meeting between Osborne and Callahan happened at 7:25 this morning and lasted all of 10 minutes. Callahan then left the Osborne Complex and drove away with no comments to the media. As I type this blog, Osborne is meeting with the assistant coaching staff.
