So whats the deal with the big ten? I'll tell you, its simple football that goes back to the basics of running up the gut, big stadiums and feirce rivalries. We all know that the leaders for many years have been O state, michigan, mich st, penn st and wisconsin, but the little boys like N western and Illinios are always counted out. Ohio st over the past years had introduced the "shotgun" into many of there playbooks as well as Illinios but Michigan and most of the other Big 10 teams are all sticking to basics.
