Altho I wan never a Green Bay or Minnisota fan, I have always like and respected Brett Farve. He is deffinatly the best QB ever! But I have to say, I think it was a bit selfish for him not to go out there for the first series and do a bunch of handoffs so he can keep his streak alive. A few running plays is all it would have taken for Farve to keep the streak alive and get to 300 like his fans wanted and expected. What can I say that hasnt already been said? They fire the head coach, which fires up the players who fear their jobs being on the line, and they play better. Fear is a great motivator. You see how they are starting to cool off as they begin to get comfortable and start fearing for their jobs less and less. As much of a fan as I am, it's kind of hard for me to say this, but it's all about the money. And thats any sport anymore. You threaten to take away that money security, and all of the sudden the players care enouph to play good....even my Cowboys. Sad but true. What they need is…

It was a great year for the Rangers this past year! As a fan, I must say I was thrilled with their progress! Now they decide to regress, by losing a big key player in last years suscess. With Cliff Lee going to Philly, the Rangers probably will not be as sucessfull as they were last year. The only way to keep even with last year, is to get another player of Lee's caliber. By the end of next season, if the Rangers do not make it to the World Series, I can almost promise you they will look back at this offseason and wish they would have retained Lee.
