I am pretty much a homer when it comes to sports, although this doesn't stop me from having pointed criticisms of teams I have rudimentary knowledge about. I know that most of Wisconsin sports teams suck nowadays, so don't bother pointing that out to me when we argue. I am a college student training to be a journalist, so if you see any errors in my writing please point them out to me so I can force myself to check my info. Football is pretty much my sport of expertise at this point in my life, which of course doesn't mean I know enough about the sport to have educated opinions about it.

Every team has its fair share of hopeless, stupid followers.  These are the kinds of people who will turn blue with indignation if you begin to imply their precious franchise is as bad as its record suggests.  These are also the fans who act like they know more than the coach or owner of a particular franchise, despite the fact they base the majority of their knowledge on what they happen to catch on ESPN during their breaks at Perkins or some other comparable dining franchise.   But who are the most aimless and unknowing fans in all of sports today?  The answers probably…
