I know he has done alot for Purdue but losing to Indiana is the last straw, i just think hes lost his motivation. he used to be a gambler was ALWAYS underated, and pulled off his share of big upsets, but now he just seems to settle for mediocracy and just accept going 7-5, with this schedule we should be 9-3 or 10-2, he cant win the big games, heck he cant even win games that used to be gimmes. Thats the question that seems to come to mind quite often during the past few seasons, I mean Joe Tiller has done wonders with the Purdue football program, but maybe he has taken us as far as he can? In 1996 he completely turned around our football program, even sending us to the Rose Bowl in 2001. Sitting at 6-2 in the Big 10 (Oct. 22) is pretty respectable, especially when you consider the remianing schedule, Purdue has a good chance to be playing in a new years day bowl game (capitol 1 bowl?) looking at the schedule we have next week vs Northwestern which SHOULD be a win. The Penn St. game will definately be a tough one, but if Painter shows up like he did in the Iowa game it could be very winnable, one thing that worries me about this game though is that we have to go to Happy Valley…
