As a Red Sox fan since before most of you were born I have seen the Red Sox keep players during the twilight of their careers and it was plain stupid.Papelbon is right. Get him now. It hurts the Yankees as well as helps the Sox.Money isn't a problem. The Red Sox have it. They also have tremendous clubhouse leadership who would not let A-Rod get away with his ego-centric garbage.
