I'm a Husker fan from Kansas. Many times I have been asked why I'm a Husker fan if I'm from Kansas, well, it's easy really. Brook Beringer, Tommy Frazier. I currently reside in San Diego and have become a Charger fan over the years as well as a Padres fan. So, I'm pretty much all over the map.

The Big 12 has 4 teams in the top 25 as of now, 3 of them in the top 10 (BCS 4.KU 5.OU 6.Mizz -- A.P. 4.OU 5.KU 7.Mizz).  However, watch ESPN tonight and see if they are mentioned in more than a breath.  I doubt they will be.  I think this is the best showing the Big 12 has had in a long time.  In the recent past, Texas and OU have been strong contenders but as for the rest of the Conference, less than spectacular.  Sure there have been Bowl games but when was the last time we had a chance to see 3 teams in major BCS Bowl games??  I'm not sure I…

I just don't think that the Nebraska faithful are going to sit around and watch their team fall apart, even more than it already has.  I heard on ESPN the other day that Tom Osborne (the second coming) stated that the walk-on policy will return with the new coach.  One of the broadcasters mentioned it, not a live quote.  If anybody can confirm he said this, I would like to read the article or watch the clip.  In my opinion, Callahan is gone.  We heard a lot when he was hired, people asking if a bad NFL coach can be a good NCAA coach.  I guess we're finding…
