In sports, having a home field advantage is considered to be a huge advantage over a visiting opponent. In professional sports, it's why emphasis is placed on having the best record. In most sports, having the best record means you get to have home field advantage during the post season. Heck, Major League Base has even made the All-Star game matter by having the winner get home field advantage in the World Series. Well, I ate my words. They tasted bitter, just like they did back in March when the Heels decided, "Hey, going to another Final Four is too easy! Let's completely forget everything that we've ever been taught and we'll elt Gerogetown win!" Similar to that, my Heels decided that in baseball, not showing up was the better option.Maybe I was an overconfidant Tar Heel fan (that I conviently pointed out in my last blog). Thanks, I thought the argument was pretty clear cut. That's two I've lost badly to guys who didn't even argue anything, just talked about how great a player they loved was.
